Safety-related requirements are specified for many products used in the Russian Federation. This comprises the performance of a prescribed conformity assessment procedure.

In the following cases, DIN GOST TÜV offers the procurement of approved certification bodies and testing laboratories as well as the management of the tasks associated herewith:

Certification of building products

Analogous to the GOST R certification, Russia also has a system for voluntary certification as well as a compulsory certification for building products. The testing and certification are performed by bodies approved by the Russian building authorities.

Building products used in a construction that is subject to acceptance procedures generally require a “voluntary building certificate” issued by the building authorities.

Registration and licensing of telecommunication products

Telecommunication products that may have an effect on the Russian telephone or radio networks must be registered and licensed with the Russian Ministry for Information Technology and Communication.

Registration and licensing of measuring equipment

Measuring equipment requiring calibration and measuring equipment whose measurements are relevant for safety must be registered and licensed by the Metrological Service of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology for use in the Russian Federation. This requires testing of the measuring equipment by an approved metrological testing laboratory in Russia.
