An operating permit is required for the use of machinery, equipment and plants in so-called “hazardous industrial facilities” (plants/equipment requiring monitoring) in Russia. They are therefore subject to a compulsory approval by the federal supervisory authority ROSTECHNADSOR, formerly GOSGORTECHNADSOR Russia (GGTN).

Amongst others, the following products require operating permits:

• Pressure vessels, heated and unheated
• Hoisting devices
• Equipment for the chemical industry
• Equipment for the extraction, transportation and processing of crude oil and natural gas
• Mining equipment
• Explosion-proof plants and equipment
• Gas-burning facilities, gas distribution networks
• Mills

Due to the fact that the GOST R certification/TR certification and the issuance of the operating permit are associated with one another and prerequisite procedures, DIN GOST TÜV offers both the proof of marketability (GOST R Certificate) as well as the issuance of the required operating permits and relevant licenses as a “one-stop shop”.
